We're flying United Airlines, out of Oakland and into Columbus, both ways. Well, the return flight is out of Columbus into Oakland, but the theory remains sound. Because the world (and Chris) loves me, I have window seats, and will thus not go insane. Also, we have layovers in Chicago, where I can refuel my laptop batteries and, again, not go insane. The details:
To OVFF, on Tuesday, October 18th.
Depart Oakland, California (OAK) at 6:15 AM, United Airlines flight 752.
Arrive Chicago, Illinois (ORD) at 12:15 PM.
Depart Chicago, Illinois (ORD) at 1:25 PM, United Airlines flight 751.
Arrive Columbus, Ohio (CMH) at 3:46 PM.
Ostensibly, they're going to be serving us a 'light lunch'. We all know what 'light lunch' means. 'Light lunch' means 'Seanan packs her own food for the flight, and maybe has a smoothie during the layover'. We still need to make our hotel arrangements for Tuesday through Thursday nights, but the rental car is already arranged.

Arrive Chicago, Illinois (ORD) at 3:55 PM.
Depart Chicago, Illinois (ORD) at 7:45 PM.
Arrive Oakland, California (OAK) at 10:20 PM.
That was, unfortunately, the only available flight back to Oakland; I may need to take another day off, as I normally go to bed at nine, and will be wiped after an entire day in transit. Also, that layover means I need to bring looooooots of snacks and DVDs. And yet, for all the minor inconveniences of the transit plan itself...
