Hey, California folks! Has your life been dull and meaningless lately (or at least seriously lacking in your daily recommended dose of surreality?) Are you looking for an excuse to spend more time with your triumphantly returned Seanan, thus shifting the values slightly back towards what has always passed for normal in these here parts?
Well, look no further, as we have two, two, two exciting musical events coming up that require your attendence!
Nerissa and Katrina Nields -- the Freight and Salvage -- April 15th. Amanda, you need to make time for this one if you can. Ditto Julie. A sister duet from the East Coast, the Nields are absolutely wonderful, and absolutely worth devoting an evening to. Tickets are $17.50 in advance, or $18.50 at the door.
Kris Delmhorst -- the Freight and Salvage -- May 21st. I'm not quite as big of a Kris Delmhorst fan, but she's growing on me fast, and her lyrics are absolutely cracking. Tickets are $15.50 in advance, and $16.50 at the door. So one less performer saves you two dollars.
I will do my best to make it to at least the Nields show, come hell or high water. If you can, you should do the same.
