It's time for another round of my favourite poetry game, Iron Poet. Basically, you give me three words and possibly name the style of poetry you want, and I write a poem -- nice and simple, right? Right. There are, however, a few rules:
1. You can either give me sadistic words, or name a poetic style. Not both.
2. I will not write acrostics, limericks, or any style which by definition must be more than a hundred lines in length.
3. Please put all word groups in original comments, not as replies to someone else's comment. Things tend to thread, and I may miss you otherwise.
As a final note: no, I did not invent this exercise. It's standard to poetry workshops everywhere. But it's a lot of fun.
