Tired and tarty.

So my flight out of Greensborough was delayed. By an hour. And then my flight out of Atlanta was delayed. By half an hour. autographedcat and kitanzi made my time in Atlanta much more present by surprising me at the airport; I love cellphone technology. I also love them.

I expressed my love by exposing them to the Nields and sharing the meme. Ha.

stakebait met me at LaGuardia, and the two of us waited a ludicrous amount of time for my suitcase to come around the single AirTrans baggage return. When it did, we hit the loo, hit the bus, and started the long trip home. Much was done: we discussed fanfic (and sex), public transit, Disneyworld, my love of reptiles and the wonderful world of human nature. Life is good.

It started raining while we were grabbing KFC (I was starving), and we made a mad dash across a street and down a long city block to reach the PATH train to Jersey. I am so nonchalant about that now, it's cool. We got to the house around midnight, and sat up talking and laughing and being quoteable at one another until four in the morning. (Me, Mer, Merav, Arvam, Jon, and Merav's friend Mark.)

In the morning, Batya and Alex showed up, and we had a small LMG rehearsal. Avram was planning to go into the city to see Patrick's band, and Merav, Jon and I decided to go along. We got aaaaaaall tarted up. I left the house...

* In a tight black top and black jeans;
* With my sexy new black shoes;
* Wearing makeup -- black eyeliner and hooker lipstick;
* With a hair gel-tamed ponytail and front ringlet;
* Accessorized by a coral necklace and a black and gold wrap-belt.

I was, in short, the new hotness. Merav was also the new hotness. We were hotness enough that some Mexican men asked Avram how much they'd have to pay for the two of us.

Yeah.

The band was cool, if loud, and the conversation afterwards at the deli was even better. Much lovely snark. Now we are home, and I am no longer the Whore of Babylon, and it is time for bed.

This is all. And now we rinse.
