MAD SCIENCE PARTY AT BORDERLANDS WOOOOO!!!!
Okay, so here's the thing:
Shaenon Garrity, who wrote Narbonic, is having a big-ass party at Borderlands Books to celebrate finally putting out the big two-volume collection of the comic's entire six-year run. It's an epic comic, and it's an epic book, and we're going to have an epic time. I used "epic" three times there, and that's sort of like chanting "Bloody Mary" three times in front of a mirror: means it's gotta come true.
The party will run from five to seven PM on Saturday, November 19th. There will be cupcakes and wine (boxed and bottled), and original art available for purchase. The books are $30 for the set of two, or $17 individually; they'll be available for sale on Saturday, and if you can't be there, you can contact the store to order your very own signed and personalized volumes.
It's going to be a lot of fun. I get to work the merch table, which I love, and Shaenon gets to see her baby go out into the world in an awesome new form. Be there if you can!
