Today's strip was inspired by The Stepsister Scheme by Jim Hines, a fun romp through the 'true stories' behind the fairy tales. Seriously, it's an awesome book. Also, can I just note that I'm disturbed at the fact that my cartoon-self is still recognizable with black hair? It's bizarre.
This whole strip was worth it in order to have an excuse to give Brooke head trauma. I'm just sayin'. (And yes, I've heard about the Fables pilot. I am...cautiously optimistic.)
