Oh, hello, Morning.
1. Woke from a dream of testing to enroll in a large academy that was willing to take one member per generation of a select list of families, period. They were probably going to reject me, and if they did, I would be put to death. But no pressure.
2. Lilly is standing next to my chair -- literally, she's on her hind legs -- with one foot hooked over my left thigh, trying to signal that she wants my lap. My lap is leaving the house in less than five minutes. I am not giving in.
3. I just gave in.
4. Thank heaven for 7-11.
5. I have managed to make every Advent deadline so far this year; I feel productive and on top of things. Also, my first Yuletide story is finished, and I need only to finish the pitch-hits I may or may not have managed to acquire. I ADMIT NOTHING.
6. I found a gorgeous book of DC Hero postcards yesterday at Half-Price Books. I love postcards. I don't do holiday cards, but I will occasionally do postcards. Only not right now, because the post office scares the hell out of me. Ahhhhhhhhh.
7. That's really all I've got right now. I'm too tired to really think straight, and Lilly is purring pointedly in my general direction. I'm gonna go catch a bus. Happy Wednesday!
