I swear I didn't plan my strips to get as many media-specific in a row as possible. I tend to draw three or five at once, and then alternate inking depending on which is my 'travel' strip and which is my 'home' strip. It just worked out this way. (The next strip is either 'How to Write a Novel III' or 'Army of Darkness,' depending on how fast I finish their respective inks.)
The strip itself is dedicated to the Sacramento Firefly game that I periodically participate in. I play an outer space circuit teacher -- sort of a substitute who drops in for three to eight months at a time, to take over small schoolhouses in places where they don't have Core-trained teaching staff -- who works the Rim and served as a sniper during the War. (That's Cherry, panels one and two.) Panel three includes our Captain, Archer, our ship's hacker, Jerrika, and our pilot, Brian, who holds the record for Single Figure That Has Required The Most White-Out Ever.
I am so easily amused sometimes.
In case folks missed it before -- I did post on a Sunday, which was, perhaps, not the smartest thing I've ever done -- I am currently running a strip sale. This batch includes such gems as 'the first time I drew Debbie Ohi' (#50: Art!) and 'Seanan does horrible things to Vixy' (every other strip).
