Riddle me this...

Why is it that twice now, files have become unreadable from my thumb drive when using any other computer, but remain entirely readable on my laptop? Not all files. Just some. No predictable pattern has yet emerged. And yes, I have virus protection and it says my machine is clean.

Help?
