Success! In photographic form, even!

After over four hours of intensive Photoshop work, I have finished sorting the pictures from Sunday's shoot into 'useful for our purpose' and 'not useful for our purpose.' Note that this isn't the same as 'good' and 'bad'; the goal was to get something Bill could paint from, not necessarily something that looked good raw. So there are some totally cute pictures that didn't get dealt with -- I ran out of go -- and some pictures where it's all about the pose and the positioning (and the number of guns I'm holding, let's not be untruthful here).

At the end of it all? Two hundred and four shots to go through. This is going to take some work. But hey -- it's two hundred and four more shots than I had Saturday! We can officially tick 'cover photo shoot' off the list of things to do for this album; now I just need to pick a top ten, send 'em to Bill, and wait.

In other news, the next time I see a brightness/contrast adjuster bar, I think I'll probably scream. And I got absolutely nothing else done tonight. But my work here is finally done, and now I can move on to obsessing about something else.

Bed will be a mercy. I think I'll go there now.
