Calling those who have encountered INTERNATIONAL shipping issues.

Sep 17, 2007 09:17

All right: Chris is going to the post office today to raise some holy hell, but in the meantime, we're aware that several of you who ordered internationally (which is to say, anywhere outside the United States) have encountered severe delays in the receipt of your CDs. We still don't know why this is; I'm voting 'the post office hates us all and wants us to suffer', personally, but that doesn't make the damn things appear.

In order to try to ease the sting a bit, we've made a clean digital copy of the entire album, zipped it as small as it'll go (down to about 75MB, which isn't bad, all things considered), and set up a password-protected directory from which said zip file can be acquired. Sooo-ooo...

If you have placed an international order for Stars Fall Home, and have not yet received your CD, please email me directly -- do not comment this entry to make the contact, although you're welcome to comment to tell me that the contact has been made, or that you're pleased we're doing this, or that you're going to march on the post office, or that the snark is a boogum -- with the following:

* A viable email address.
* Your country of origin.
* The name under which your order was placed.

(We'll use the name and country to find your order and confirm that it was shipped in the first place, and the email address is necessary to give us a way to contact you.)

Once we have your information, we'll email you the download information to head on over and pull down a virtual copy of the CD. Your physical copies are still en route, but at least this way, no more waiting!

It's something, anyway.
