A few quick CD bullet-points.

* We are currently at 86 pre-orders. I am stunned. (To give you a small idea of why, it took two weeks for 'Pretty Little Dead Girl' to hit 93 pre-orders, last year. This is 86 in less than two days.) Lisa is threatening to open a betting pool on when pre-orders will close. I'm a little bit afraid of this concept.

* Since I've been asked several times: yes, you can pre-order CDs as gifts for other people, and no, we won't tell those other people that you've done it. So surprising folks is possible. The confirmation emails will be sent to whatever email address we're given to go with the order.

* Several people received confirmation emails over the past few days that said they'd successfully paid for 'Pretty Little Dead Girl'. This was a bug, and has since been fixed; your order is still recorded as being associated with the correct album. Promise.

* I know I said I'd put up website 'rewards' for every fifty pre-orders we received, but to be quite honest, I didn't expect to hit fifty so fast! So we'll be putting up the reward for fifty this weekend, and if we've hit a hundred by that point, we'll be putting up that reward, too. All rewards are going to be open content, so you can access them whether you've pre-ordered or not.

* Although I will say that it's beginning to look like pre-ordering sooner, rather than later, miiiight be a good idea.

* I have one scheduled recording session for January -- the 20th, at Monkey Brains in Seattle, where we'll be adding vocals to the truly awesome guitar (Tony Fabris) and drum (Luis Garcia) tracks already recorded for 'Evil Laugh'. Nothing says 'love' like happy homicidal dinosaur songs. Seriously. Nothing says love quite. Like. That.

* Please, feel free to advertise pre-orders! I'll even give you a cookie if you do! Cut and paste as much of the text from yesterday's announcement as you like, or come up with something entirely your own; as long as you include the order link and price points, I'm overjoyed.

I'll still be posting weekly statuses, on Mondays, to let people know how many pre-orders we've received; those will continue until pre-orders have closed. After that, we'll drop to normal CD statuses, which will consist largely of hysteria and squee.

Now we must rinse.
