One of the first-year students in the program is having a baby shower this weekend. I don't know if it's a boy or a girl, and anyway, these people are sociologists, so I am crocheting the blanket in green. Made it to the post office today just in time to send off the baby/child package to my friend Laura. Now I need to start another blanket for Adam's baby--who actually preceded Laura's baby, so I didn't really time that too well, but hey, the baby will still need to be kept warm for many months yet.
