So I've been in Spain now for the past week.
A lot of things have happened while at the same time not really. It's been about a month and a few days since my last post. Roughly something like that.
What else has happened? Well. We did go and see Dweezil Zappa again. I saw him for the first time seven years ago with my dad. A dual first time. He's seen him once more since then with mom. In the mean time my brother has also gotten into him so he got to go for his first concert. Zappa for all.
Ever since then I've been working like crazy. Work has been a little bit chaotic. More then necessary. But I like to think that I've earned a lot of extra money by standing up like I have. It'll put me in the good graces of my boss which is always helpful. We'll be having an anual workers meeting where we discuss the job and our group and how shit is going. It'll be interesting.
What else has happened. I've finally began dipping into my savings that I worked so hard up to save. I've finally began investing in my proper game set up. I'm excited about my 4K 65inch tv with ambilight. I've bought a surround system with beautiful sound. A new tv bench that will hold the tv.
Also have swapped out my New Nintendo 3DS for an XL one. I've bought the Nintendo NES edition and it looks pretty freaking cool to me.
Now tomorrow I intend on finally picking up my PlayStation Pro and my PlayStation VR, alongside with one VR game (because the Inpatient got delayed...). That'll be interesting to try out with Skyrim and the handful of cheap Horror VR games that I've been collecting.
I've also decided I'm going to give Assassins Creed Origins ago because Egypt. I watched A let's play for a while and that one seemed pretty interesting. I bought Assassins Creed Chronicles not to long ago for the trip, I tried out the China episode but it seems that one was a misbuy. Oh well. It was on sale and cost like, 30kr.
On more gamefront news. I've preordered Horizon Zero Dawn complete edition, I'll finally be giving that a go. And Okami is being ported to PS4. Also pretty neat. I'll also be getting Fallout 4 VR when it's released. So many games.
To change from games I am buying, I'll distract now with what I bought and have played. Shadow of War was expectedly a blast, but a messy story. South Park the fractured but whole was also fun, but I prefer the prequel to be honest.
All these games. It's a hobby what else can I say?
Also some gaming news related but somehow, not really? I've got my own radio show now about games. And it's pretty damn fun to talk about what I love so much. But it's very bizarre hearing my own voice on the radio like that. It's an exciting project.
By the way. I'll totally be Christening the 4K 65inch tv by playing Uncharted as one of the first games in total dark. It'll be glorious.
EDIT: I've been writing nano this year again. And yesterday I hit the 50k mark. It's been a fun story to write, and still has a way to go until it's completion but damn, I'm having fun right now.
