Long weekend
I've been out of the country the past few days.
It was needed to go away for a little while. I've been working for two years without holidays and the last half of 2016 was very stressful for me.
It wasn't quite a holiday. It never is when you go out of the country to visit family. You meet this person and that person and need to go do this and go do that. It's been a near constant myriad of things to do.
So truth to be told. I'm looking forward to actually having some time off next month. Actual time off. We're all going to Spain then for a week, and no family to do or to see as well as no wifi. It'll be great to have a weeks time to just sit and read and write and colour. You don't need more then that to be honest.
Sure I'll be bringing my vita and my ds knowing me, but playing an hour or two lazily in the sun is perfectly acceptable I think.
I'm looking forward to it.
On another note, amongst all the stuff that we've been doing in Belgium, Friday we went and saw Nick Cave and it was very good. Quite intense. I bought a shirt for the first time in a long while. I've missed concerts.
Sunday we'll be seeing Dweazil Zappa. I've seen him before but seven years ago. Also debating on going to see a concert in Oslo in April. Thirty Seconds to Mars is coming. They're on my ever decreasing list of stuff I need to see. There's only four left now. Foo Fighters, Bloodhound Gang, Thirty Seconds to Mars and Buck Tick.
Hopefully I get to knock mars of there in April. And maybe Foo Fighters if they do a tour now with the new cd. Maybe even Buck Tick on my trip to Japan next year if I'm lucky.
