The All-Life Changing Powers of One Word...Step Right Up and Collect Yours...Going Once...

Yesterday, Mike, Adam's brother, and Gilma, his wife had an extremely huge fight. Like shit being thrown and a whole lotta yelling and cursing. But what the whole argument was based on isn't what is important or relevant here.

After the slew of things died down and ceceeded, I kinda had the chance to quietly think to myself. Like as to how all of this started. That's what I noticed a lot of people, if not everyone does...They contemplate to themselves as to how everything could have happened, how did this happen, and what the fucC led up to it. But in looking over the replay in my head, it would have never seemed feasible that it could have happened. However, there's one thing that bugs me and that has to be the power of decision-making, or free will, technically. I can't honestly help but wonder if I could have said one more word, done one more thing, have done something to interrupt time-space continuoum (sp?) to have prevented all of this. I sat for about an hour thinking if maybe if I asked Gilma for one more thing or if I had said one more word to Mike, that this all could have been changed forever. Just one more word. One more sound out of my mouth that people decipher as a verbal anomoly. A simple word could have changed everyone's lives yesterday forever. But I chose not to say that word...and Hell broke out...and dropped some demon friends off along the way because they forgot to bring their lunch, you know? But it's amazing how something so small could make such a big difference.

I don't know if any of you have seen that Halloween Special from the Simpsons where Homer tinkers with his toaster, turns it into a time-machine, and is warned not to touch anything because it'll cause a disturbance in the time-space continuoum. Sure enough he does, and hijinks and laughter ensues. That was such an image of power displayed there. But it's even more crazy to know that we all have the power and freedom to change time. We are all capable of doing such an amazing thing like changing our, as well as others, lives forever. Maybe you'll wear blue today, maybe you'll take a left at the light instead of always using a right, maybe you'll pee sitting down.
(NOTE: That was kinda completely directed at guys, so girls, "maybe you'll pee standing up"...It's possible, I've seen it done...ok, don't ask.) But my point is, such a great mass of power and we're too innocent to know the better of what we're doing. I can see that we, as humans, are destined to fail. We weren't meant for such power...

No joke today kiddies. Sorry. Kiss it.
