Something in me changed last week. Since my last post about the storm, I had an intense moment of emotional catharsis, and never really came back from it. After a week of looking at the storm from behind glass, I crashed and saw it for what it was. The lives it ruined. The homes it took. This semester has certainly been...interesting. Coming out of it, on the other side now, I feel a remarkable disconnectedness to many things, the exception being those things which I recently created for myself.
