Look at you, you're growing old so young

I feel like all I ever do in this journal anymore is write weird esoteric essays, so I'm going to try and update more about everyday life! Life is pretty fun right now! But as far as the esoteric stuff, I managed to turn that weird America piece from the other week into a decent English paper with some editing and reworking of themes, so yay for ( Read more... )

So, 17 Again (aside from making my body feel some things) really made me feel in-my-body. I realize now that's something said a lot in acting school that might not make that much sense; basically just conscious (in a positive way!) about my body and also, I think, a sort of feeling of potential energy that could be transformed into kinetic, you could do anything at any time. I think it's cause Zackie is like that. He's standing, he's shooting a basketball, he's dancing, he's walking like a cool cat in his avs... you know.

This was just related to two things you said. Oh, I wasn't very clear. The profound effect 17 Again had on me was making me really want to enjoy my body now before I look like Matthew Perry in 20 years.

I like all your updates.

I understand what you're saying, he's very PRESENT all the time. God, what a bamf. I never thought I'd be saying that about Efron.

Oh but here's the thing: fortunately, we will never have to look like Matthew Perry. Even in 20 years. We're way too hot for that.

I like your updates too! I never comment, but I always read them and think about them. You go to some good places in your mind/etc. :)

It was good to see you Saturday, we need to do that more often!

Kacie darling, I'm going to miss your hugs. It's really inspiring to see you gaining some more self-confidence, and I'm happy that you're feeling good about yourself even in the face of all the scary lifestuff. Guh, I'm going to miss YOU -- I know you're getting senioritis, but your graduation is too soon in my book. Let's make sure we have a KacieSarah date sometime before you go, 'kay?
