Rep. Joe Walsh, one of the most extreme Tea Partiers in Congress, said this week that abortion is never medically necessary to save a woman’s life. Seriously?!

Walsh’s opponent, Tammy Duckworth, is exactly the kind of strong advocate for women’s health that we need in Congress to fight back against outrageous, ill-informed beliefs like this one.

Well, my doctor's nurse called me today and told me he did find a seminoma, as expected. So, it is cancer, or was, I hope. They're going to make appointments for me to get scans and X-rays to see if it's spread, (well, to set a baseline to see if it spreads, I guess) and if so they'll talk about chemotherapy and/or radiation.
