Sorted a bit more... sort of. Photo meme?
Gosh, it's been almost exactly a month since I last posted, which means I should really post today so that it doesn't turn out to have been a month since I last posted, if you see what I mean... My posting calendar for this year must look rubbish.
[Okay, that didn't happen - I wrote that yesterday, and now it's been a month since I last posted... *headdesk*]
Ironically enough, many other people have been posting for a month - I was a-reading, just not a-writing (or a-commenting... or putting a- at the beginning of things - I bet you missed the time when I wasn't doing that... *g*), but I shall try to do a bit more of both again now. Not the a- thing... Okay, I seem to have no coherent sentences... or coherent thoughts. Ah well, I shall carry on anyway.
How's your world? Mine currently involves the beginning of autumn, having a cold, attempts to clear my storage unit by throwing things away, still having a frankenleg and trying to do my exercises enough, and attempts to organise an adventure or two, cos it's about time for adventures. The good kind. I hope. And, of course, work here at my wee desk at home, still enjoying freedom from boss (less so, freedom from steady income - eep!).
Amongst other things, I've also been enjoying ailcia's photo-meme posts, and I've always meant to have a go at that myself, and maybe it'll get me back into posting, so... here's a bit of yesterday (but not from the start, cos I only began partway through the day... also I forgot to take pictures of the only time I actually left the house until I was nearly home, so... oops)
About 1pm when I thought I might do the meme, my world looked like this... Woooooork.
c2pm, overcome by the great pile of despair (aka stuff that needs sorting out) next to my work, and realising that I was very hungry for lunch indeed, I took my current reading downstairs to finish off my romanescu cauliflower cheese (which was yummy, but didn't look good in a pic, so...)
(Yes, shush, I'm reading on my Kobo, not on paper - but that's cos it's Torchwood fic)
Back to work, with many a sidelong view out the window...
c4pm - off to GP, completely forget to take pics of the pretty day until I'm on the way back, so this is the road home...
And when I got home I decided I'd make up for it by taking pics of our wee bit of autumn...
My last pic yesterday was of sunset - at just after half six! What's going on?!
And then it was back to work into the wee hours, because I somehow get more done late at night than I do in the daytime, when the energy's all buzzing around and there are things to do...
Well, that wasn't a very exciting day, was it? But look, here's a post, only just a month since I last managed it. And tomorrow (today) is going to be far more cool, cos it really, really was... even though I'm now behind on work and falling asleep in my seat... Although it might have been this post that did that... oh dear... *g* Oh, I wish I had the energy to do today's post now, cos I've had a lovely day, with meeting of lovely Pros-y people... but it will have to wait until tomorrow, even though it's not today, which is just a timey-wimey type mess of blogging, isn't it?
