Praise the Lord! I have my car back!
Well I called the service center this morning and found out my car was ready to pick up.
The man said it was free of charge-God bless him. It was a broken alternator wire.
So anyway- I made my way down via bus. I had to take a bus downtown and then transfer to the one that goes to the service center. Only thing is- I missed the one for 10:25 since the first bus was late. So I wound up having to way an hour once I got downtown.
So - when I got down there and got in my car - it started pouring buckets. I had already asked (and even offered to pay -to have some air put in my tires. They said no- don't worry about it.) Anyway- I pulled over to the air hose so the kid working there could put air in the tires and it just starts pouring down rain! Worse than that the car is leaking like a sieve so I got soaked too! Who knew- I thought I was just going to get my car repaired. I didn't know I'd get a free car wash (outside and in)and a shower to boot! Needless to say I had to change when I got home! I feel bad for the kid who put the air in my tires. I know he got soaked as well. - I use the term "kid" in a general since. I'm sure he was over 18. Hey-look- anyone younger than me or anyone around my son's age or so is a "kid" to me! Ha ha.
On the way home I had to pull into a parking lot and wait for the rain to let up some as it was pretty "heavy-duty" for a few minutes. But I finally got going again and made it home.
