Update
Well I had the car towed to a service center yesterday morning. Long story but someone knew/knows a mechanic that sometimes does car repairs for free or for a discount. He a deacon at my friend's church. I still don't know what's wrong for sure on it and will have to call around 8 a.m. or so. I know he probably couldn't reach me last night as my son was online and I was at class - my cell doesn't work when I'm there. No bars.
So yesterday was interesting.
I had to walk quite a ways to get to the bus stop and while I was waiting I looked down at the sidewalk and the shadow from the sign for the bar that I was standing in front of (yes the bus stop was in front of a bar) anyway... the shadow was a cross. I took it as a sign from God. (I'm sure depending on the time of day, etc. that the shadow looks different but anyway..)
Also I got some verses in my e-mail that seemed to speak to me.
I went to see my job coach and he helped me apply for a couple of jobs. He wrote me up a cover letter and modified it for each position.
I took the bus home and when I got off the bus and was walking home- I heard someone call my name. I looked over and it was a former co-worker from National City Mortgage. She asked if I needed a ride home. I told her yes, thank you.
She hasn't worked since January. They let a lot of people go there. But she said she was surprised at the ones they kept. She said one good thing was they are paying for her and some others to go to school. I forget what she said she's learning and what degree she is going for.
Then I got home and found out that the lady that lives near me said she could give me a ride to class (she left a message on my answering machine).
She can give me a ride there and back tonight also if I need it. But not the rest of the week. I may not need it as I hope to have my car back.
Well there's more but this is getting long and I need to get off of here. More later I hope.
