Stuck

Well - the son and I went to the store awhile ago. I decided to chance it. Big mistake.
We made it down to Kroger ( a few blocks away-a 15 minute walk one way-unless your carrying heavy bags)- anyway.....

We did our shopping- I didn't buy much but my son bought a lot. We come back out and put the groceries in the car and I put the keys in and ..... car would not start. I start brainstorming- I first think - OK- I'll go back in the store and see if they have one of those pull carts-they didn't.
Then I start calling people but no-one was home or they weren't answering their phones.
So- my son and I took all the stuff that didn't need to be refrigerated or frozen and put it in the trunk. The stuff that did need to be in the freezer or frig we put some in the big insulated bag I have from Aldi's and some in regular bags and my son carried some and I carried some and we walked home. Only it took me longer to get home as 1. I ain't so young anymore. 2. I got the big insulated bag to carry.
He couldn't carry it as he was carrying 4 bags 1 of which had 4 half-gallons of milk. It was even heavier than the big bag I was carrying.
He did make it home before me but then I guess he realized I was having a hard time of it because when I was almost home I saw him coming to help me. He took the big bag and took it the rest of the way home.
Then I had my neighbor who had just got home herself- to take me back down to Kroger and I got the rest of the groceries from the trunk and brought them home.
Well anyway- I'm tired. I missed my class tonight.

Oh the tea at church was good. I enjoyed it. They had those little cream pastries (puffs)- oh I had to hold myself back they are SO SO good! I seriously think I could OD on those things if someone let me loose with them. They should be against the law! :)
