This temple is a Vishnu temple, and one of the greatest in South India for that matter. For some reason though I never make it into the sanctum at Vishnu temples and Srirangam was no exception. Of course the most famous temples in South India are Madurai and Tirupati, but T-Bone had been to Madurai about a half dozen times before and Thirupati was geographically out of my range.
