I only got three hours for work outside.
With this time I managed to:
* prepare LBT with landscape fabric.
* use the wheelbarrow to transport all bricks and pavers from the storage area to LBT setting up a base
* use the wheelbarrow to transport non-named bricks and slate pieces from the rock pile to go to LBT
* use the wheelbarrow to transport other pieces to LBT
* hand-carried large concrete slabs to the patio
* filled two large plastic plant pots with smaller concrete pieces and carried those to another part of LBT
* selected 3-5 inch flat concrete pieces to mark post locations for north picket fence (6 feet 2 inches apart)
* selected named bricks and laid on the circle.
* removed remainder pieces by shoveling with dirt into the wheel barrow and depositing in a mound in LBT
This clears the rock pile on the north fence line and removes all bricks and rocks from the storage area.
What should happen next to de-junkify the side yard:
* move large wood posts to LBT
* move bags of rocks to LBT
* move pots of rocks to LBT
* move can of stuff to LBT
* move named bricks to the rock garden staging area
* move post concrete to LBT
At any time, though, I can:
* plant posts for north fence (except for front corner post)
* add rails to two of the three sections.
* add pickets to those rails.
* plant post for front yard west fence.
* plant south west corner post.
* add rails and pickets.
* plant north west corner post.
* add rails and pickets.
* paint picket fence.
* clean/sand/stain garbage area fence
* transplant the blue spruce
* buy an apple tree and plant it
* rough cut and put up pickets for garbage area
* rock path
* front north path permanently paved with transition.
* center transition paved with french drain extension.
* permanent paving of garbage area
* side path to start of circle with transition.
* flatten tool shed area
* clean up rainbarrel planter
* adjust level of rainbarrel
* landscape area between rainbarrel and house corner
* adjust rough circle.
* put in base for circle
* put in blocks and pavers
* put in tetherball and base
* pave around the circle
* adjust level of heat exchanger
* pave to the driveway
To-morrow I hope to make some progress on this (finish de-junking), but I start the day buying native plants in downtown St. Johns from the Baltimore Oaks native plant sale, then planting them in Marvin's Garden while simultaneously weeding.
If I complete de-junking on Saturday, I can focus on posts Sunday.
The following weekend I can continue this work, then April 13-14 I will devote to tax return preparation.
