Fauna, some flora
While working in the back yard saw a couple of bumblebees. They like the dandelions.
The back lawn is like a meadow. I will have to weed wack it.
Still need to trim the area of the park strip along the sidewalk south of our walkway.
A wide variety of birds heard while working outside. Viewed a robin enjoying drinking from a puddle in the alley. I could hear geese honking on the way to southern climes.
Squirrels enjoying Delbert's Garden.
There is some large leafed weed back there I need to remove.
Several onion-esque clumps around Marvin's Garden (Grape Hyacinth) n with the cactus like plant collecting water in its curved leaves. The sword fern in Marvin's Garden looks really sad. The bushes are beginning to sprout leaves.
Many weeds still around, I keep busy breaking the stems from last year. Need to continue de-weeding, which I hope to do while planting natives in their place!
