Sunyoung had fought her way through an aisle of mother’s hungry for cereal discounts, a child throwing a tantrum over his favorite candy bar being out of stock and an old man repeatedly driving his motorized cart into a shelf of jam to get a stocker’s attention before finding her way to where she needed to be.
It wasn’t always that hectic in the store but, then again, she’d never been one to hurry through the aisles like that. She couldn’t help it though - she was desperate, desperate and terrified that she’d missed out on seeing her again. She could remember the last time she had; a few days ago, she’d shown up about five seconds two late, watching with a frown as that short blonde mop that disappeared behind a high stack of mac and cheese boxes.
Reliving that memory again only caused her frown to reappear once again - hands gripping tightly around around the handle of her basket as she felt something nudge her lightly from behind. Turning her head to the side, her frown disintegrated immediately as she took in the sight… well, below her.
“You alright with talking about soft pretzels today?” The shorter girl questioned, holding up a small box of the mentioned. “By the way, the name’s Soonkyu, I figured I should get that out of the way if we’re actually going to be friends here.”
Sunyoung just smiled in reply.

Their managers weren’t going to be very happy with either of them, Soyeon had figured this as her (taller) friend had grabbed her by the hand and drug her out of the company’s dance studio toward what they had dubbed “heaven on earth”.
(If those golden arches weren’t enough of a sign that they were right, she had no idea what would have been.)
She knew a lot was at stake; she was losing valuable practice time and his group was already astonishingly (if not bordering on disturbingly) popular which meant he had to conceal his identity if he knew what was “best for him”. She assumed that he did though; food was important and if anyone knew this, it was him. It wasn’t like fans could flag him for wanting to go out and eat anyway - even if it was with a friend, albeit a female friend but it wasn’t like they were anything more than that.
“Noona, you’re getting ketchup all over your sleeve,” he mumbled at her through a gob full of french fries.
She grimaced.

Jinri snickered as she turned the corner into the prehistoric section of the museum, fingers linked tightly around those of her friend. “I’m pretty sure Mr. Lee started to tear up when we switched around all of those lunch bags.”
Free hand gripping at the center of her stomach in an attempt to heal the laughter cramps ‘plaguing’ her, Krystal shoot her head, yet another laugh escaping her lips as her mouth opened to speak. “It’s not even like that’s serious business or anything either - it’s so juvenile. He’s lucky we didn’t try to steal that model of the solar system.”
“Well, it was a pretty lame model,” Jinri replied as she crouched down in front of the description plaque of one of the dinosaurs. “You think we could get this out of here?”
“A dinosaur?” Krystal questioned, incredulous though amused, as she dropped down next to the Jinri. “I’m not opposed to trying.”

“This sucks.” Soyeon let out a sigh, prolonging it for as long as she could in an attempt to get the attention of her company - her (she guessed the technical term for it was) “maker”, the one who was to blame for her life being as boring as it was now.
Being a vampire really wasn’t all it was cracked up to be, if anyone could tell someone that, it was her.
“Maybe you should find a hobby,” the other “body” in the room finally spoke up after what felt like hours (and, for all she knew, it really could have been; it wasn’t like time was a thing of essence anymore).
“Maybe you should try being a little nicer to me,” she replied back with a snarl, rolling off the side of their comforter pooled mattress (not that they really needed it) before beginning in his direction, arms crossed defiantly across her chest. “It’s not like all of us can go out and buy legos in bulk like you do. You know I can’t be around people yet without getting the urge.”
The man simply chuckled in reply, his eyes locked onto the mini village he was creating out of the children’s toy he was so head over heels for. Snarl still intact, Soyeon reached forward, fingers pressed tightly together as she swatted at the largest “landmark” she could reach toward.
She resisted the urge to laugh as he turned up to look at her - eyes filled with undetectable emotion. “What’d you do that for?!”
“Maybe you should try listening to me next time.”

“You’re still not doing it right.” A lightly calloused hands (she assumed it was from all that hard training she did) found their way across either side of Tiffany Hwang’s waist, bunching up the the hem that had just barely been covering the bottom half of her new uniform. She fought the urge to blush as she felt warm fingertips press just under her ribtones, a rather obnoxious laugh escaping her lips as a cover up.
“Oh, come on, Fany. Three months in and you still think all of your little screw up’s are funny? It was cute at first but we’re getting really close to our competition and…”
Tiffany felt a pang of guilt at the worry that had arisen in her captain’s voice.
“I’m sorry, I just… you know how am with this sort of thing, every time I think about that back flip I have to do, I freeze up. I need to look around for some relaxation techniques or something; maybe some yoga or… meditation…,” she trailed off with a shake of her head as Hyoyeon let go of her waist, the tension seeming to lift somewhat.
“You know you can call me if you need any extra help, right? Anytime, I’m always willing,” the blonde paused and craned forward to get a better look at Tiffany, flashing her a bright smile before beginning to back away. “You know where to find me!”
