Thought for the Day: Run! Forrest! Run!
Not much to report today although I am starting to fell the effects of working out more often and shedding some pounds. I really needed to catch my bus yesterday, but I was standing talking to co-workers too long that I was late. So I began to trot towards the bus terminal. I never really got up to a cantor but I was able to sustain the jog for 8 blocks without being winded. Jogging is a hard on the streets of New York you have to be nimble and agile to be able to dodge and weave at a moment's notice. I felt like the kid on the bike in that Paper Boy arcade game I used to play back in the day. It felt good not being winded or having to stop due to a pulled hammy or anything. I made my bus with a minute to spare.
A second effect has been my belt size. I usually count 3 belt holes in and fasten, but lately I have been going 4 belt holes in. A good sign since I would prefer it to having my jeans fall down. (Sorry ladies!). Guess I am going to have to goto the GAP again to buy more jeans, but I can probably wait until I get another belt hole down. I used to be 32-34, which was fine since they have lots of those. Then I moved up to 34-34 and I am still ok. The last I bought were 38-34 which is lopsided and hard to find.
FYI Sebastian still hates us both.
