Such an excellent weekend.  Adam's birthday on friday night kicked it off, breaking in the new/old house (have we got a name for it yet?)  What could make this better? Joni and i celebrated our 2 year anniversary on the Saturday.  We spent the rest of the weekend together, not really doing anything, but just being with each other.  It was awesome ( Read more... )

Last Tuesday i got my ears checked and found out i both ears were severely blocked by hardened wax.  The doctor said i would need to administer ear drops and come back in a week so she could pry the loosened wax out then.  Right now i'm hoping this will significantly improve my hearing, something i had thought permanently damaged from loud music. Last Friday after work, i would have enjoyed a more relaxing night at home.  Instead i drove my sister and i to dinner with my grandparents.  It's not that i don't care about them, it's just that i feel almost no  connection with them at all.  They have values and beliefs that differ so much to mine, i find it hard to enjoy their company at all.  ( Read more... )
