You're delusional and also possibly an idiot if you think there won't be negative repercussions to removing the Statute entirely. No one said, at least not in the journals publicly, that they were concerned about exchanging technology and innovation with muggles, but were concerned with the potential of bigotry and prejudice-- the same sort that you're illustrating here.

Did I say there wouldn't be negative repercussions? On a selfish level, I don't want the Statute lifted because I'd like to be able to avoid all of this when I finish my NEWTs. However, in response to the dialogue I've seen thrown around, you are ignorant pigs who think that just because you have something Muggles don't that they'll want to use you. There will be bigotry and prejudice. In a society where devilish things are condemned, you will be. But don't act like poor little victims. You've still got your sodding wands.
