Rejected/Impossible New Year's Resolutions
The following is a list of resolutions that I have rejected based on impracticality, impossibility, or whatever.
--See my brother-in-law out of my mother's house
--Win the Nobel or Pulitzer Prize
--Learn to sing
--Convince my husband that he is slowly killing himself with his smoking, excessive caffeine intake, lack of exercise, and inconsistent sleep patterns
--Visit New York City
--Visit Europe
--Grow my Bala sharks to ten or more inches
--Lose 35 pounds or so, so that when I am pregnant, I won't weigh anywhere near 200 pounds
--Tell my father that his views of my brother-in-law are completely out of whack with everyone else's view of this guy
--Get a tan
--Get a job
--Always look on the bright side of life
I'm sure there are more. But I shall stop here. Today is not a good day to blog.
