Fifth period was sweltering today - our portable felt like a sauna! It was so hot that I got sleepy, and when I came home I turned off the lights, shut the blinds, turned on the fan and the air conditioning, and passed out in a t shirt and undies. Ahhh, I still can't make any noise, but pain killers and hot tea have brought me some temporary relief from this sore throat. Today at school I was rather pleasantly surprised to see that I'd made honours on my midterm report card, despite my somewhat sporadic attendance. Later on, I was rather unpleasantly surprised to realize that I'm going to need approximately $600 for prom weekend, inccluding my dress, shoes, hair, hotel, food, gas, etc. I'm fully unemployed right ( Read more... )
