The first leg of my crazy Europe trip is over--the rest of my DIS left for the airport a few hours ago (except for two people who took a train to Zurich) and I´m here in München for the next two days--my train for Prague leaves at 10 PM on Monday, so I have a good deal of time. Yesterday, I realized that I could not access "Flyin'" by Regina Spektor, and I had no way of knowing what other songs I could not access, so I asked the Apple forum. I did what they said and found myself recovering 320 songs. I don't know what that means, exactly, but because it took a Windows Update to fix, I'm going to blame them. So, I just got back from seeing Barenaked Ladies in New York with Marissa, her surprise early Christmas present to me. It. Was. So. Good. Seriously. They just came out with a Holliday album, so it was a Holida-themed tour--they played Jingle Bells, the Dradle Song and a really cool instrumental rendition of Ring Christmas Bells, and then it ended ( Read more... )

Prom was lovely. Casey was a fabulous date, though she's spending the night at Danielle's because her dad said she had to (must go to Vineyard soon). The fish gave it an interesting atmosphere; much better than at Foxwoods, I would say. The music was mostly crap (please please please please stop asking them to play "Who Let the Dogs out?" In Environmental Science today we collected bugs. It was so fun. We had nets and we ran them through trees and bushes and if we got any insects we sucked them up into a pooter (it looks a lot likea hookah, and you suck in and the bugs are sucked into a jar).
