I've been incommunicado for quite a while, working through some personal issues and struggling through the month of September, which is always rough for me. September is in its final hours, now, though. And I'm happy to be able to close the month with some excellent news:

And I double-majored in chemistry and physics for three years. I know how to get rid of a body. :-D
On a happier note, I'm so relieved to hear you're doing better physically, at least. I was terrified we were going to lose you, when you called and told me what had been going on! You don't have permission to check out yet, y'know. *g* *hugs*
Love you hon!

I'm actually thinking of getting a second job for the holiday season, anyway, if I can find one. Having been out of (paying) work for a year, I'm behind on my bills. *wince* Still, even if I do that I'll make sure I have Saturday or Sunday off from both jobs. I have to keep one weekend day open for socializing and vegging, after all...!
No matter how high gas prices may climb, though, you're worth driving to have lunch with. In case nobody has told you, you're a pretty nifty guy. And a wonderful friend, as well. :-)

For law school, I don't know. I'm still partial to Columbia, because Ruth Bader Ginsburg went there, but I don't know anybody in NYC. Though law students have limited free time, it would be nice to have friends around that I can spend my free time with. So for that reason I'm also looking at Washington and Florida law schools. And Georgia, because I do have friends here too, but that's my last resort -- I'm feeling burnt out on this area, and feeling it's time (or soon will be) for a change of scenery.
You may end up stuck with me as a neighbor yet, m'dear. It just won't be for a year or two, yet, thanks to my getting a job close to home. :-D
