Ok, now that I've read through the whole thing, how long is it going to take you to finish your bachelor's degree? And when/where will you be doing law school? And as far as salary negotiation, can't help ya, though I wish I could. I'm just now starting to learn the fine art of negotiation myself.

I'M SO EXCITED FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The time required to finish my degree will depend. If I do course overloads to compensate for changing my major, I can get it done in 1 year, flat. If I refuse to give up sleep as a hobby, 1 1/2 years. *g*

For law school, I don't know. I'm still partial to Columbia, because Ruth Bader Ginsburg went there, but I don't know anybody in NYC. Though law students have limited free time, it would be nice to have friends around that I can spend my free time with. So for that reason I'm also looking at Washington and Florida law schools. And Georgia, because I do have friends here too, but that's my last resort -- I'm feeling burnt out on this area, and feeling it's time (or soon will be) for a change of scenery.

You may end up stuck with me as a neighbor yet, m'dear. It just won't be for a year or two, yet, thanks to my getting a job close to home. :-D

Yeah, but just think! If you went to NYC, that'd give *me* a really good excuse to get my a*s up there. Hee hee hee...... :)

Looking on the bright side, now that I'll be earning a salary I'll be able to afford to visit sometimes, at least. :-)

Plus, when I have a couple years experience on my resume, it probably won't be difficult for me to relocate... ;-)
