Teach the Germans how to ransack. German museums, who could easily teach Elgin a trick or two, must have been delighted at the time.

Apparently, a team of historians says the lost city of the Incas, Machu Picchu, in Peru was discovered more than 40 years earlier than previously thought and ransacked by German businessman and adventurer Augusto Berns in 1867, allegedly with the blessing of the Peruvian government (See BBC Online).

I think the next Indy movie should be set in the catacombs of those Berlin museums. A mummy will do just fine, too.
