Positive news from Gothenburg today, dad had manage to breath on his own for 15 minutes two times today. He still has the tracheotomy thingy in his neck, but they remove the oxygen cord for some time to make his own lungs do the work instead. Well, we finally have the train tickets back home for tomorrow afternoon. It's been a long week in Gothenburg and I'm dying for some time on my own, no family in sight. My dear flat!

It's  late at night, raining again,  and I've just finished re-watching Wong Kar-Wai's 2046. His films always make me feel very melancholic, but they are SO beautiful. Nobody  can look as sad as Tony Leung Chiu-Wai, he is totally amazing at being silent. One of my favourite actors .. And I really need to watch some more of Chang Chen's films. He ( Read more... )

Apparently Whit Stillman has a new film in the works! Good news indeed. It's 12 years since Last Days of the Disco and 21(!!) years since the wonderful Metropolitan. I'm a bit worried a the Gossip Girl sound of the synopsis, but it wight work. Stillman and Manhattan is a given combination. I wonder how Adam Brody will work in his film?

I came across this film on lgbtq_recs , which had an intriguing write-up of it. So I had to order the dvd, and mum and I ended up watching it yesterday.

I'm watching an old MacGyver episode where RDJ's haircut is fluffier and more hockey-long than ever, and I still find him kind of adorable. Childhood heroes can do no wrong.
