It took me being ill for a week to realize that there actually existed a food shop online that delivered their goods to the door. Yay for internet shopping. And tomorrow they had free delivery so even better. It will save our back SO much to get juices&milk&sparkling water& all those heavy groceries delivered. Finally! We celebrated Midsummer's eve yesterday in a very empty city. It's quite wonderful how silent the city turns when most of the inhabitants go away to the sea- or countryside. Gosh, I've just read another perfect yuletide story,  of the "more-of"-kind. An almost pitch-perfect sequel to I Capture the Castle, called The Account Book written by Ankaret;  with a slightly older and wiser Cassandra writing her debits/credits during the war.
