(no subject)
Third day in Gothenburg, yet again. I'm heading back down to Lund tomorrow. Dad has been so-so, we had some good hours yesterday and even today, managed to make meatballs that he actually ate for once.
Hung out a bit with my brother and a few of our friends on Friday night, one of whose book has just been published. All very exciting even if I haven't seen the novel yet, just read several early drafts, it will apparently appear in stores next week.
Then the weather got even worse, and I've hardly left the flat for two days. Lots of rain on top of all the old snow, which turned the streets into ice, and it's been pretty atrocious even if it isn't as cold as before.
God, I really have to be good about turning back the sleeping schedule wehn I'm back in Lund. I start a course in French (yeah, yeah, never-ending student..) at the uni on the 17th and I've just seen the time-table. At least two lectures pretty much every day, 9-11 and then 13-15. Tons of grammar to cram. I've been practicing on some mock test (esp nr 2 so far, where I just got 36 our of 50, terrible!!) and I know that I really have to work on that bloody subjonctif, argh! But I'm also really looking forward to doing French again, and speaking and reading it for work for a while. Might bring me slightly closer to Paris after all. And it's never wrong to have some kind of double major. Will be very good to have loads of stuff to do every day again. So that's my spring term sorted out..
