Gothenburg love and Dreamwidth

Have loads of stuff to talk about from Gothenburg; sunburnt, pretty happy and hanging out with old friends, but also dad in on-and-off mode, he's as ok as he can be I supposed, but when he's off he's a bit worse than before, I feel so bad for mum who has to be on her toes and look after him every day; it's really hard work. BUT we've also had some nice family time, e.g. we made moules marinère tonight. And earlier today I went on a picnic with my brother, his wife, and her latina friends from her Swedish language school, (this meant LOADS of food and proper Mexican tortillas, yay!) and spent the day by a lake, hence the sunburn. Also, last night, first spritzers at Bazar's terrace, meeting up with some of my favourite Gothenburg people, and then later running into an old friend at the Glänta release party whom I hadn't seen in years. Extremely social and extremely family oriented visit at the same time. But most of all the city is SO gorgeous in its early summer costume. The parks are full of people and flowers and it's hot and lovely and on the whole I like this place so very much. Will post some photos later.
