wrapping up rapidly
this weekend seemed two football games long. i am fine and well with football games until the third hour. by that time, i don't care who wins i just want it to be over. i suppose this makes me a bad sports fan. luckily, i never claimed to be a good one so i'm not damaging any credibility i might have unknowingly obtained.
before & after the games we got some things done. much needed grocery shopping and buying of andy's birthday and christmas presents. he has been unwilling to admit what he wanted so i took it upon myself to make a list of things i had heard him reference with interest throughout the last few months. i allowed him to see it and determine if i was correct in my choices. he only had one correction, so i considered my list a success.
sunday night after the game we went to the domain and purchased a new apple tv (we've already purchased some pumas) for his birthday; and, a leather fossil bag and a dark grey lacoste polo for christmas. it was a very utilitarian process. i am going to order him some jeans and a few belts from ae this week when they have a promo. done and done.
last thursday i went to the new fossil store and the guy there told me to enter the raffle they were having for gift cards. i did, and i ended up winning a $100 gift card! so i was able to purchase the shirt from my last winter (clothes) post. however, i ended up with the cream colored one instead of the pattern. i figured it would go with more things in my closet.
this week i want there to be promos from ae, j.crew, madewell, and lands end canvas.
