Date: Sunday, September 4 Time: 6:00 PM Week Number // Name: 001 / The New Beginning Characters Open To // Involved: All characters! Involving currently: Storm. Reason: Opening of the new school year.
Tristian stood uneasily against the back wall of the room, listening to Professor Munroe's opening speech. It was basically the same each year, except this time last year, Xavier had been giving the speech. He nodded to several people as they turned and looked at him, still keeping his attention focused on Storm.
He also noticed several new people in the room, young and old. He was used to that. People came here all the time, no set age limit keeping them away. He scanned the room, looking for some familiar face, but his eyes snapped back up front as Professor Munroe mentioned her class. He smiled when her eyes met his. He'd yet to be late for any of the training sessions; a fact he was proud of.
When the sign was given for them to start talking, he yawned loudly, and said to no one inparticular, "Another year at Xavier's, here we come!"
Kase's usual enthusiasm at the start of a new term was somewhat subdued this year, as she stood listening to Professor Munroe address the students in Professor Xavier's place. She normally could barely contain her excitement at the prospect of returning to the school and her friends, but things were definitely different this year. Still, she was eager for the new year and all the new things to learn

Tristian grinned when he heard Kas's voice, and he waited for her to make her way to where he was. "Kas! Hey!" He wrapped his own arms around her, embracing the friendly hug, smiling down at her. "Yeah, I know! Me too!"
He looked around for a quick second, (hey, he could do things like that) and then turned his attention back to her. "So, how was your summer?" He knew that she was probably wondering the same thing about him, only she'd liekly already found out, knowing Kas.
He motioned her over to one of the many folding chairs that had been set out for them, and then took one himself. After she had sat down, he looked at her. "It's kind of weird, though, isn't it? Being back?" He hated to switch the conversation back to that so soon, but he couldn't really help it. He'd not had a chance to talk about it all summer. His dad wasn't exactly understanding.
Phoebe was smiling brightly as Storm spoke, despite herself. Part of her felt guilty for feeling happy, because Professor Xavier (whom she had liked, honestly, he had been her favorite professor last year) was not here, but for the most part? She couldn't help it. She had a wonderful summer, and this seemed like a wonderful start to the year.
She looked about quickly, turning her head for a sight of any of her friends. Phoebe's smile widened as she spotted Kase and Tristian, and bounded over to them with a sudden burst of energy. She wasn't normally this active, or excited (in fact she was normally rather calm), but it was the first day of school and that in itself deserved some hyper.
"Kase!" she laughed, coming up from behind her friend and hugging her. "I missed you - I have so much to tell you - I worked over the summer at a fast food restaurant, can you believe it, me in one of those silly aprons trying to cook!" Phoebe forced her unusual surge of talkativeness down, and grinned, turning to Tristian. "Clockwork," she greeted
