These are perfectly understandable concerns, and I was actually waiting for one of these to find my concrit post. Actually, I really do want to thank you for using this rather than going "OMG THIS IS THE WORST SIMON EVAR 8||||" on RP!S like someone out there did (brb bitter :|). But everything you said is perfectly understandable. Even I'm really uncertain about a lot of the latest things he's done. Like, believe me, you have no idea how many OOC discussions I've had with castmates, both from Mayfield and other RPs, and people who know the series I had before I finally decided to do it. Really, this has been in the works for a month or so, now

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND THE LATEST POSTS ON HIM. NO HE'S NOT TRYING TO KILL HIMSELF. Even though it really looks like it. Simon knows you can't die in Mayfield. And that is definitely something you can take advantage of. With all his previous plans not working at all, Simon's left desperate for ideas. And he wants out now before he has to watch Nia hurt again. He just needed a way to prove it. He wasn't ready to try it on anybody else, and he wasn't about to go "OHAY GAIS I NEED A HAND WHO WANTS TO STAB ME? :D" because that... would not have worked out at all :||| However... so far as Simon had seen, people who have been injured have been healed relatively quickly--within a few hours, a day at the latest. He didn't expect Nia to be there when he did it :||| He told her to leave and trusted that she would but dammit the girl's too quick. B| He didn't want her to see him like this, in fact that's the last thing he wanted. Though. He didn't expect it to hurt so much, either

It's fine, and don't worry, I'm glad for the long comment. I guess I see where you're coming from, with all of what's happened to him. I guess I kind of disagree a bit, I think Simon would be more resilient? Like...yes, he could regress if some bad things happened, but he'd bounce back faster because he's finally understood all the stuff that he hadn't understood the whole series, believe in you who believes in yourself and all of that

I get this, too, I really do, but... Simon's world has been flipped on it's head, I guess I could say. He understands all the believe in you who believes in yourself, I'm Simon, not Aniki, not Kamina, if you're in my way I'll drill a hole right through you, who the hell do you think I am stuff, but... I find it hard to see him getting back up quickly, after two months of failfailfailfailfail. In the beginning he'd get up quicker, and he did. He was doing things all the time, all over the place, trying anything that came to him, but things have changed. Like I said, again and again and again getting knocked down takes something out of a person. I keep coming back to it, but Nia's brainwashing (and previous inactivity that was kinda hard to explain away) did him in the most. Like you said, Nia motivates him. She's his reason for living. Seeing her like a drone... was painful. More painful than he'd ever admit to her. God, now I'm talking in circles |D Another very hard thing to deal with is playing slightly-confident Simon
