... It didn't fit in one comment. OMG. I AM SO SORRY I TL;DR'D SO MUCH D:burningspiralJuly 27 2009, 05:54:22 UTC
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND THE LATEST POSTS ON HIM. NO HE'S NOT TRYING TO KILL HIMSELF. Even though it really looks like it. Simon knows you can't die in Mayfield. And that is definitely something you can take advantage of. With all his previous plans not working at all, Simon's left desperate for ideas. And he wants out now before he has to watch Nia hurt again. He just needed a way to prove it. He wasn't ready to try it on anybody else, and he wasn't about to go "OHAY GAIS I NEED A HAND WHO WANTS TO STAB ME? :D" because that... would not have worked out at all :||| However... so far as Simon had seen, people who have been injured have been healed relatively quickly--within a few hours, a day at the latest. He didn't expect Nia to be there when he did it :||| He told her to leave and trusted that she would but dammit the girl's too quick. B| He didn't want her to see him like this, in fact that's the last thing he wanted. Though. He didn't expect it to hurt so much, either.
This is also a big part of his reaction to Yoko's brainwashing. It's his way of saying "TIME TO GO NO MATTER WHAT THE COST." He just wasn't prepared to risk his friends and allies on something that might not work... or be this painful. Thankfully, Simon's plan is now out the window.
I've had complaints--a complaint--about being OOC before. But I would like to say, in my defense, that Simon is my favorite character. Both in-show and to play. He's important to me. I want to get him right, no matter what. I put a lot of thought into everything he does. I mean, everything from his icons to his voice ("Would he say "woulda" or "would've"? "want to" or "wanna?" hhmmmmm" happens quite a lot @_@) to his actions and back again.
The last thing I want to seem here is rude to you, because I really am grateful you brought your concerns directly to me rather than RP!S or talking behind my back. I always prefer crit, hence why I have a crit post, and this is really good crit. If you still have concerns, or if any of this doesn't make sense to you, feel free to point it out to me. Seriously. I want you to. Don't worry about using anon, as I always give my crit anon-ly, too. I'm grateful for all of this, so I can't hold a silly thing like being anon against you |D. I'm glad you did this, bb-san ♥
