Good Service in Chinatown!?!
Seriously, good service in Chinese restaurants this part of London is so RARE that it should be considered a freaking ATTRACTION. I've experienced pretty lousy though typical service in the past, kicking you out of the restaurant asap to make way for other guests, getting orders wrong or forgetting them etc.. To top it off a compulsory 10% service charge--what exactly was the point of gratuities in the first place I ask???
However, this post is not to rant about them.
I've just stepped out of a restaurant where I just received -the best- service I have ever experienced in Chinatown, London, UK, period.
The waiters were nice, polite and cheerful. They not only constantly changed our plates--something that is not common even back home in SG, then even freaking changed my HANDWASHING WATER for eating CRABS :O
That's like, never happened to me in my life. D: not even in the high class Chinese restaurants in Singapore. They made my crab eating experience feel..clean?
(and I can tell you my method of eating crab is typical disgusting and messy Singaporean >///<) loll
what made it even more impressive though was the compulsory service charge at the end. They didn't NEED to give good service!!! It was already in the bill!!!
And the restaurant name is... Dum dum dum...
Crispy Duck! In Chinatown of London. Please go there~ it really had super nice service~^o^ well known for their yummy lobster noodles too mm~ and crab today^^ as you guys could probably already tell.
Maybe it was a one off thing tho...D: maybe it was just the nice and cute waiter(made cuter through his awesome waitering skills and eager to please puppy dogness~). Or maybe it was just cuz they saw we had a big group and parents who were willing to spend and thus customers they want to come again :O ulterior motives!!! D: maybe they're actually horrible to students :O
or maybe... the male waiter just thought I was CUTE! :blush: ;) lol jkingD: I must've looked super disgusting and unappealing with my tasteless eating habits and disgustingly loud nose blowing :( stupid brother passed me his cold :(
Aaa nooo I shall be POSITIVE (>____<)....
Nvm if anyone else reads this please tell them that the you heard the service was amazing~ and try to put some pressure on them lol >=)
anyway! Has anyone else experienced such good service before too?? Am I the only one??? I seriously think that Chinese restaurants should improve their level of service~ don't you guys agree~ :)?
