Well, the plans I had for Giles and I on the Holiday of Orgasms were a success. He said the axe I'd gotten him was quite lovely and he seemed pleased with the steak dinner I made for him, too. He has hidden the chocolates somewhere at the shop to enjoy later, so I'm assuming he liked those also. Obviously he liked it when I put on the new lingerie for our night of orgasms, that was a no brain needed idea.

He gave me chocolates, roses and a very pretty necklace that has a money stone in it. It's supposed to help me receive more money when I wear it. I haven't taken it off since Monday night and business has been very good. Of course I'm not sure if it's the stone or the After Valentine's Day Sale we're having, but it doesn't really matter as long as we continue to make the profits we've been making this week.

I had ordered some new candles from Fakir but he was unable to deliver them until tomorrow, so I left Giles at the shop and went to pick them up myself. I was just there yesterday, it would've been nice if he'd told me he couldn't get my candles delivered on time while I was there, I could've taken them with me. On my way back yesterday I noticed a house that is for sale. It's a pretty house and I believe it would be suitable for a family. I know that Giles and I are not quite at that stage in our relationship but it can't hurt to look while I'm out today, right?

I stop in front of the brick house on Charleston Street and go up to windows, trying to peer inside but I can't see very well. I try the door to see if it is locked and it isn't, so I shrug and decide to have a look around. It's a very lovely house, the rooms look big and the sun streaming in through the windows is pleasant.

I climb the staircase to see what the bedrooms look like, starting with the first one on my right as I reach the top. It's a nice sized room and I go to look at how much closet space it has when I hear a scratching noise coming from the hallway. Thinking it's probably a rat, I walk towards the hallway hoping it will see me and run off.

As I come out of the room I see that it is not a rat, but a bunny. Many fuzzy, beady-eyed bunnies and they're all over not just the hallway, but the whole upstairs! Horrified, I jump back into the room and slam the door shut. I can hear their claws as they hippity-hop around out there and the panic is rising in me as I lean on the door and try to come up with a plan to get out. I look around the room, wondering if I can climb out the window without breaking a leg when I notice movement out of the corner of my eye. I slowly turn to look towards the closet just as a bunny hops out, followed by another, and then another.

I'm frozen in place as the three of them stare at me, noses twitching as they hop over to the wall and begin to eat the wallpaper. I watch as one tears a strip away and begins to munch on it, relieved that it's eating the wall and not me when I look closer at the wallpaper. It's not wallpaper at all, it's money! Tens, twenties, hundred dollar bills! All being consumed by the filthy evil bunnies!

Letting out a strangled scream I forget about the ones in the hall and open the door, running straight out into a sea of bunnies, all of them eating money. They're fur is touching my vulnerable flesh and I'm trying hard not to pass out as I try and find the staircase so I can get out of this den of hell, but it's not where I remember it being. I'm kicking the loathesome things out of my way, frantic to find the way out and only finding more rooms full of the creatures eating piles of money. Just as I think I will be stuck in here forever I find the stairs and stumble down them quickly, hitting the front door and yanking it open, never so thankful to see the outside before in my life.

By the time I had reached the house on Charleston I realized it was later than I had thought it was. There was no time to look at it so I went straight to Fakir's and picked up the candles. Usually Fakir is a good conversationalist and I enjoy speaking with him, but today his stories were not very interesting and I found myself fighting to stay awake and pay attention to him. The tiredness still hadn't left me when I was on my way back to the shop, so I stopped at the Espresso Pump and brought back mocha frappucinos for Giles, Tara, Theresa and I. I must be working too hard, with the sale and all. But it will be over with on Monday and then things should return to normal. I can catch up on sleep then.
