Well, the demon that was making all of us sing has been sent back to where he came from. It turned out to be this big misunderstanding where Yuffie's mother had summoned him and he thought it had been Mikka. Which if you know Mikka, is ridiculous. Why would she summon a singing demon, not to mention one that wanted her to be his Queen?
Giles seems preoccupied with some of the things people were singing about, because they're things they don't normally talk about. Honestly, they're all so repressed it was a good way to get some of it off their chests so they can go back to not talking about anything again. There's a moral to this incident, but it's no doubt wasted upon most of them. Notice it wasn't me smoking and almost meeting a fiery death during this, that's because I don't believe in keeping the truth to myself to spare the comfort of others.
Now that it's over, Donkey has gone back to LA. I will miss his waffles very much. And him, he was fun to have as a guest.
Speaking of guests, Connor and Dylan's group came to help us after Destiny had a vague vision. I was paired with Connor to patrol for people bursting into flames. It was one of the more enjoyable patrols I've been on. He speaks his mind and doesn't look at me oddly for doing the same. That and he has a very nice axe that he uses quite well.
Perhaps I should try to find an axe like Connor's for Giles. Valentine's Day is coming up and most of the gifts one would get for their significant other don't seem appropriate for him. Well, he will still get the traditional chocolates and sexy underwear, and of course the night of many orgasms. Maybe I should attempt to cook for him, too? He's cooked for me often enough, he may enjoy it if I cook for him.
I'm going to ask him to spend the Holiday of Orgasms at my apartment since it's quieter there. Giles' building has gotten crowded lately, not to mention he's still a bit annoyed that Tristan has moved in there. I pointed out to him if he was still suspicious of him, at least he'd be able to keep an eye on him better now. Not that Tristan will be up for doing anything right now, since he and his date were attacked the other day. The woman he was with is one of Izzy's sisters so we were notified when she came up missing. Fortunately they turned up the next day, injured but alive. I told Giles I was going to stop by Tristan's apartment with some food because I feel bad that he has no one here to do that for him. Giles only rolled his eyes and said 'Yes, let's feel sorry for the boy that goes out courting trouble, Anya'. I'm sure someday, should Tristan not get himself killed before then, he and Giles may come to a friendly toleration of each other. After all, Spike's become more tolerable to Giles and I didn't think that would ever happen after he and Buffy began dating.
