[ surpraiz, Kanji! Tavros just uhhhs right back, although less out of his typical fashion of hesitance and confusion and more out of being barely conscious. his head lolls to the side, thumping against his Tauros' flank, which gives a snort of annoyance and leers at Kanji.

what, punk. you gonna come after my trainer while he's vulnerable?? i will headbutt you so hard your mother will feel it, so help me god. as soon as i can get up. it's on, brother. it's on till the break of dawn.

[He gives the two an odd stare before walking closer to the younger teen and bull. Pausing slightly, he gently sets his bag of fabric off to the side and slowly raises his hands up. Here's hoping that bull does nothing now that he has nothing that could possibly be used to harm the kid.

[ well if that's all it is, then. he supposes he won't ram you to kingdom come right away. if he'd had the energy, there would be no question, but he's just about ready to pass out, himself. he snorts again, still leering, but this time he doesn't moo in an angry manner. or whatever it is a bull sound is called.

also, the noise gets Tavros to stir a little, blinking his eyes open partway. have another useless little uhhh for your trouble. ]

[... Well; this is a weird thing to run into when you're taking your Pokemon out for a walk.

He's just gonna shoot a look over to his Alakazam before going over to inspect the poor kid, tapping his shoulder a bit.]

[ Tavros has a tough time responding with anything past a little hoarse semi-grunt, head lolling to one side. his Tauros bristles defensively, though, whipping that three-pronged tail around a few times in a warning sort of way. ]

[He waves his hand nonchalantly at the Tauros, but gives the bull a nonhostile look, before turning to his Alakazam.]

Tell him to cool it, will you? I don't wanna get hurt trying to help his trainer out.

Bro, c'mon; I don't want to have to carry you to the Pokemon Center.

[ well. that's productive. the feed eventually goes dead after a few minutes of Tavros and Tauros being passed out, but not long later--an hour, maybe--he shows up again, looking a little sheepish.

[He is just a productive guy. :| He just frowns a little when the feed goes dead but he leaves it be and just...wanders around like the space cadet he is until he gets contacted again.

And surprisingly, he does seem genuinely pleased to see that Tavros is okay, even though he's a complete stranger.]

Yeahhh... that was a kind of unfortunate circumstance that occurred, in part, due to my negligence, I guess is a way that I could describe the event, that led up to my falling down.

Goldenrod is sizable. But not nearly as large as some of the cities back where I am from.
