(no subject)
Last night was fun. I feel pretty craptastic today, but that's okay. I have also decided going out by myself isn't the greatest idea. Christine couldn't make it because she didn't have a sitter (same deal with Tanya), so I drove down on my own. And then I realized when I got there that I didn't have Ryan or Lidia's cell numbers, so I couldn't call and find out where they were. So, I texted Christine asking for his number, and then I sent messages to Nisar and Melanie, asking if they had arrived yet. In the meantime, they had said they were going to the Beertober Fest thingy, so I paid the $10 fee to get in and started looking for them. And then almost as soon as I did that, Melanie texted me that they were at Room Three-Nine (well, Melanie wasn't there... they were on their way, but they knew that's where Ryan was), a bar down the street. So, I paid that $10 for nothing. SIGH. Oh well, that's just about the only money I spent last night anyway. So I headed to the bar and found Ryan, Lidiana and some random people they'd met there. The rest of the group trickled in little by little (Jason, Geanina, Nisar, Mick and Millie... Melanie actually flaked on the way there and decided to go home). It was fun. They were playing awesome 80s music (Holy crap, Bell Biv Devoe! Thriller!), and there was lots of dancing. Some guy whose name I don't remember kept buying me drinks. It was kind of weird... he'd just show up, buy me a beer, maybe dance with me or talk to me for a minute, disappear, and then show up later to do it all again. Whatever, free drinks are cool.
Ryan and Lidiana eventually got way too drunk and started fighting, so Nisar decided it was time to leave (that's all who was left at that point). Ryan kept yelling about how he wanted to go to Makos and Nisar kept telling him he was going to drive them home instead, and then there was this one guy walking with us and Lidiana was asking him to take her home because she was pissed at Ryan. It was quite the show. Eventually Nisar got Ryan and Lidiana to go with him, and then I was on my own again. Another bad thing about driving by myself... I wasn't really ready to drive, but wasn't about to hang out in the clubs by myself. So I sat in my car for a bit and probably still drove home before I should have. Anyway, I was asleep before 2 AM.
At around 8:45, Casey was dropped off and she and Willow bounced into my room and got in bed with me. Yeah, so much for sleeping in. I got up, took a shower, got the laundry going and headed over to Walgreens to get our printer cartridges refilled. Waited like 45 minutes before she told me that she couldn't do the color one because it was too old. So I had to go to Target and buy a new one. Now I need to put them in and have Casey get to work on her project. I did talk to her Girl Scout leader, and she is postponing the park project to another weekend. I'm going to try to be productive today, but it's not looking good. Head hurty, tummy not happy, and I sleepy.
