UGH, I got so little done over the weekend. I did nothing for the garage sale. Wait, that's not true. I did buy some tape and markers so I could price stuff. LOL. And yes, over the last several months I have gathered some things to sell, but I still have to go through my whole house and look for more stuff, price everything and put it all in my trunk to take to my parents' house Saturday morning. I guess I'm going to be pretty busy in the evenings after work this week. Casey too. She finished her school project, but it took her almost the whole day yesterday. It looks great, though. I hope she didn't take it to school yet (it's due Wednesday) because I want to take a picture of it first, in case she's not able to bring it back home. She decided to do it on the Magic Kingdom, saying that a cell is like a theme park. She drew a map of the park on poster-board and labeled what each part represented (cell membrane=park gates, nucleus=the CEO, etc). She did a great job.

So, tonight I have to finish the laundry and put away a load of dishes from the dishwasher and then get to work on the sale. Yeck.

Well, it looks like I have to work Halloween Horror Nights this Saturday (just got an email from the boss). I really don't want to, but I guess they need help. The plus side of that is that I would probably get Friday off (they aren't allowing overtime, so you have to make it up elsewhere), which would give me more time to get stuff done at home. But yeck, working until 2 AM Saturday night at an event where everyone is drunk and stupid is going to suck huge donkey balls.

Had dinner at Applebees with the family last night for my brother's birthday (which is today). It was good. They sang to him and he hated it. Which means I loved it. Hee.

Another birthday today - Casey's lil's sis. Happy big 1-0 to Kix!

Some of the TV I watched over the weekend:

Kid Nation - OMG, they were doing car bombs. Well, I'm sure it was with soda or something, but it was weird seeing these little kids drop a shot glass into a regular glass and then chug it. LOL. I was like "Who taught them that?"

Pushing Daisies - I likey. It has kind of an Edward Scissorhands quality I like. America's Next Top Model is going to be pushed aside so I can watch this instead. I don't feel like using a VCR and my DVR is already going to be busy with Bones.

Desperate Housewives - Ick, I dislike Edie. And I don't mean she's a character I love to hate. Nope, I just hate her and want her off the show. She annoys me. I hope Carlos' hit on her will be successful.

Um... that's actually all I can think of.

desperate housewives, pushing daisies, kid nation, george, gifted, school, work
